30 Laps of Speed!

Think you can handle 30 laps of white-knuckled, heart pounding speed? Taming the speedway in 3 driving segments allows you to improve your driving line, increase your speed and encourages the idea that you may change careers in this, the ultimate half-day driving experience.

Prior to driving, students will go through 2 elements of safety and instruction training, in-car and on-track instruction. Between your 3 driving sessions, drivers will receive one-on-one feedback from the Pit Road Instructor, as well as additional instruction from the on-track driving instructors.

After your 3 driving sessions of 10 laps each, students will receive a graduation packet that includes a time sheet with a breakdown of each lap driven.

Meet RPDE staff and watch a short video featuring Richard Petty. Learn from a RPDE instructor how to master the track driving line, acceleration / deceleration points, following distance, and more while taking a few short laps on the track. Learn the details of the race car including entry and exit, shifting pattern, safety devices and more. Participants will have their taken next to a RPDE car.

The Driver’s Meeting is the time to go over final details, ask last minute questions and receive the driving order. Then hear the four most famous words in Motorsports, “Gentlemen Start Your Engines!”

Participants driving in a program with more than one session will receive feedback from the instructors each time exiting the vehicle. This ensures that each subsequent session shows improvement in driving skill and takes you closer to meeting the top goal speed.

Participants will receive a Graduation Pack, including a detailed lap-time sheet showing each lap driven and an official Graduation Certificate with name, date and estimated top goal speed reached.

Your hands are on the wheel, your foot is on the gas and you are in the driver’s seat for 30 laps around the track. The program can last up to half a day; the memories last a lifetime.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in Orlando: Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses.
